All Roads Lead To Bush

All Roads Lead To Bush

Great book. You can buy it here.

I come from a blue-collar, Irish Catholic, pro-Kennedy, pro-union family of Democrats. I wasn’t political until I got into the service and saw how badly Jimmy Carter f-cked things up. I became a huge Reagan admirer. But what turned me against the whole Establishment was coming back from running companies in Asia in 2008 and seeing that Bush had f-cked up as badly as Carter. The whole country was a disaster.Steve Bannon, 2015

You would think after The Donald fully exposed the general incompetence and decadence of our uniparty ruling class elites, affirming Marine Le Pen’s 2015 assertion that the populist uprising at the heart of fourth turning’s cold war ‘dividing line’ was not “left and right” but rather “globalists and patriots”, that more top GOP donors would wake up the reality of our current predicament, i.e. that the four Presidents preceding Trump all sucked and helped create the conditions for Trump to win in 2016.

The regime media is always going to cover for Democrats like Obama and Slick Willy. However, the Corporate Media’s never-ending, nausea-inducing revisionism and image rehab of George W. Bush continues to baffle us if only because, well, the brainwashing seems to be working on its intended target audience!

Meanwhile, in the least surprising move ever, former president, war criminal, Fauci-fawner, and failing Globalist American Empire hack George W. Bush took a break from lecturing Americans on resettlement efforts for the people of Afghanistan and used his 20th anniversary 9/11 anniversary speech to push the establishment’s domestic War on Terror 2.0 and condemn those non-existent “domestic terrorists” who have supposedly turned their backs on the America he once knew. But Dubya didn’t stop there. No, no, no. He then proceeded to compare basically the seventy-five million Americans who voted for Trump in 2020 to 9/11 Islamist terrorists, declaring, “They are children of the same foul spirit, and it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

Hey, Dubya. Fist yourself.

This is George W. Bush, Michelle Obama and Ellen DeGeneres’ best friend in the whole, wide world we’re talking about. This is the corporatist, open-borders loving, “free trade” loving, China/World Trade Organization-loving man, as Matt Taibbi reminds us, “who brought us torture, indefinite detention, assassination, and mass surveillance”.

It was all extremely rich for a Globalist who started an illegal war that killed hundreds of thousands and invaded a country that had literally nothing to do with 9/11, but hey – whatever, right? To have been alive and cognizant during the aughts (Dear delusional Neocons, not only did Bush absolutely not grow the party, as Trump did, but his approval rating in December 2008 hit a historic low for the country at 24%) only to witness the majority of Democrats (!) shift to having a “favorable view” of W. seemingly overnight has been astonishing to witness for populists on both the right and the left

Um, no, [President Donald Trump is not welcome on my show]. Because I’m not going to change his mind. He’s against everything that I stand for. We need to look at someone else who looks different than us and believes in something that we don’t believe in and still accept them, and still let them have their rights. – Ellen DeGeneres, BFF of George W. Bush (who supported a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in 2004), 2017

We say it all the time here at Advanced Citizenship, folks, but to solve any problem you first must define it. Trump defined the Dubya part of the problem very well when he was running for President in 2015 and 2016, making extremely true proclamations to world-class loser, full-time dork Jeb Bush like “Your brother and your brother’s administration gave us Barack Obama because it was such a disaster those last three months that Abraham Lincoln couldn’t have been elected.”

A lot of Americans agreed with Trump, including nearly the entire base of the GOP (a base that has just been waiting for someone like Trump to come along and say the obvious), countless Independents, and about nine million registered Democrats. Hell, even loony Hollywood Leftists like Vice director Adam McKay would agree. In 2018, McKay told The Hollywood Reporter “I would choose Trump over Bush and Cheney.”

And you know what? These folks (and more) still get it. You know who doesn’t get it? Certain factions of the Texas donor class who still can’t stop gushing over former President and trash Globalist American Empire Neocon stooge George W. Bush.

“Truth is like poetry. And most [not all] people fucking hate poetry.”- Margot Robbie, The Big Short (2015)

This upcoming October 18th, at a TBD location in Dallas, Texas, former President Bush will be holding his first campaign event of the 2022 midterms, a fundraiser to support one of the worst people in American history, Rep. Liz Cheney (Establishment-WY). If you need help reading between the lines, Cheney, one of former President Trump’s top targets to unseat (read more here), now endorses the woke identity left’s wacky radical transgender agenda and has herself been endorsed by Occupy Democrats.

Imagine paying money to spend time with these people.

Real smart, Texas donor class. At a time when the entire country is watching Biden flail at our wide-open border, keep bringing out a finger-painting wackjob who doesn’t believe in borders his damn self (actually, if the GOP establishment’s aim is to court more Neoliberal Corporate Democrat donors, this is somewhat “smart” in a Machiavellian way – but definitely way, way, way more just plain old dumb).

It’s a BIG club…and we don’t really, really don’t want to be in it.

Now are you ready to hear what you won’t from the pundits or even (at least as of this current moment) Based Godfather Tucker Carlson? Here it goes. Until loaded Texas patriots finally gain the courage to tell the Bush dynasty to politely go f itself, not a damn thing in the state will change.

What do we mean by this? We mean Tucker is wasting his time even trying to solicit current Texas Governor Greg Abbott to come on his show to explain why he’s done jack shit at the Southern Border. Abbott will never come on because Abbott, no matter how many times he rocks that MAGA hat and pretends to like Trump, is a Bush Republican through and through. And guess what? Personnel is policy. Elect a Bush Republican Governor totally owned by a bunch of Bush Country Club Republicans, get Bush Republican results (see how the Texas donor class continues to try and distract the GOP base with moves like the Texas Heartbeat Act while refusing to do anything about the border).

Look. We get it. Dubya comes off like an affable, fun to guy to grab a beer with (even though he doesn’t drink, fakes his accent, and has an entirely inauthentic persona). But he really was a garbage president, and, like his predecessor Obama, he screwed over anyone and everyone not in “the big club” (including his own voters, most of whom returned the favor in kind by electing Trump eight years later). But there are no coincidences in politics and our nation’s politics didn’t break overnight. A lot of very powerful people had a hand in the matter and Bush was and remains no exception.

Political elites in Austin have failed us for decades. Texans deserve real leaders who deliver real results, rather than sorry excuses and lies. We will finish the wall, secure our elections, and eliminate property taxes. – Don Huffines

We dig Don Huffines, the Republican candidate for Governor who went on Tucker Carlson Tonight this past week due to Abbott’s lack of action on the southern border. It was based when Huffines said “When I am Governor of Texas I will use Article I, Section 10 of the US Constitution to secure the Texas Border. I will never ask permission from the federal government.” However, unless Huffines understands the mind control that the Bush Dynasty has over an extremely small faction (most Texans back the populist MAGA agenda that Trump ran on in 2016 and are based) of ivory tower Neoliberal and Neocon elites in Texas, he doesn’t stand a chance in hell.

You see, the Bush Republicans (i.e. Bush Corporate Democrats) like Abbott’s donors? The old money folks that control Texas? They either don’t know the difference between Trump and Bush (which is damn near everything) or they’re in on the decades-long Bush/Cheney con. Either way, nothing will fundamentally change until the Bush spell is broken once and for all.

When it comes to the Lone Star state, all roads lead to Bush
